Steve Cleff is an imaginative realist who paints in watercolor. His work focuses on the internal struggle of the psyche represented through Jungian archetypes of Shadow and Anima.

He has synesthesia, a condition where sounds, touch, smell, and emotions create shapes of color in his mind's eye. These visions influence the vibrant palette and abstract backgrounds in his paintings.

Steve's paintings have been exhibited in Copro Gallery, Arch Enemy Arts, the Dark Art Emporium, and Gristle Gallery.

He has done poster art for movies including House of Demons and Chris Claremont’s X-Men and his paintings have been featured in films including Of Darkness and Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously.
